Ye maya chesave REVIEW

Its been an hour since i came back after watching the film..

First impression on the film was created after seeing huge crowds outside the theatre this morning. 90% of audience were youth came with bags, obviously bunked their colleges and came to watch this movie..So thought Naga Chaitanya still had a chance to get youth appeal or loverboyish image after his disappointed first film Josh.

Story
:: Simple, Cool and routine love story. i cant think of anything special to talk about story. I felt like it was a boring routine love story.

Cast :: Movie mostly has only two characters(hero and heroine). I thought Chai was just okay..but for sure he has a long way to go to reach his father's stature. Only thing i liked about him was his costumes. They were so simple, casual and realistic. Center of attraction was new girl jesse(real name samantha). She was very beautiful, cute, charming and i simply loved her. Her performance was also very good. krishnudu(frnd of hero) was good in his role and provided some subtle humour which is very little in the film.

Direction :: Gowtham Menon disappointed me as a director. I liked his previous films Gharshana, surya s/o krishnan. But this was not upto his mark. Photography was good.
Film was showed in a very realistic way and no over dramatic scenes just as we expect in his kind of movies. For the first 30 or 45 mins, it was good watching those realistic scenes later on everyone will get bored of same kind of conversations between lead actors.
Dialogues were good and i like some of them. Cant resist without mentioning some..

tanaki kopamoste chaalu venakki tirigi nadustuu vellipotundi...inni rojullo tanani front angle lo kante back angle lone ekkuvasepu chusaanemo..

She just showed her middle finger to me and walked out of my life..(hero background narration when heroine leaves him)

Music :: AR Rehman great man accepted by the whole world..i liked a couple of songs even before watching the movie..coudnt add any to list after watching either. But i am sure photography and picturization of songs helped music very well.
And now i remember both lead actors coudnt dance properly in those simple steps.

Overall :: Movie was simple and boring. I dont want to preach people. But my advice would be not to prefer this film over some other film because of gowtham menon/ naga chaitanya/ar rehman.

May be i am the only young dumb guy among the audience since i went to watch the film with my parents on the first show of first day only trusting Gowtham Menon.
I expected it to be a decent matured love story with some fun but noticed it just wasnt.

SACHIN BROKE ANWAR'S FEAT

Sachin Tendulkar becomes world's highest individual scorer in One Day International cricket.

He scored 200 of 147 balls and remained unbeaten against SA in 2nd ODI.

Everyone in the world was praising about the genius and so i just wanted to improve this post by bringing those praises together.

Praises/Comments on Yesterday's knock ::

"There is just no question about that. He is the greatest batsman the game has ever seen. See his record! Who else has got 90-plus centuries, 17000-plus runs in ODIs and 13000-plus runs in Test cricket? He is comfortably the greatest batsman ever." - Sunil Gavaskar.

"Yes, yes, yes! Well done Sachin my friend. Congrats and well done! (It's) awesome." - Shane Warne.

"I thought the way he celebrated when he reached his 200 epitomised the man's persona. There was no running laps around the field, no aggressive gestures, nothing over-the-top. He did what he always does, raised both his arms, closed his eyes for a moment and quietly acknowledged that it had been done." - Anil Kumble.

"Sachin - the greatest ever player ever - without any doubt... I salute Sachin... World's greatest sportsman. We can see him only rise. (He is an) inspiration to us all. He is the best." - Lalit Modi

"He is my favourite player. I had said that one day he would go on to break all batting records and now you see him scoring runs and runs." - Javed Miandad.

"For any cricketer he is the perfect role model. The great thing about him is that he has been outstanding in both Tests and ODIs. As a Pakistani player, I know how much value we have always put on his wicket." - Shoaib Malik.

"I think if you ask Saeed Anwar, he would say he's happy that Tendulkar broke his record. The reason for his success is that he has a great respect for the game." - Aamir Sohail.

"Whatever record is seen to be impossible to achieve, he makes it possible. That's all I can say." - Bapu Nadkarni.

"All kneel down and praise whatever god you fancy for the mighty Sachin Tendulkar. This could just be turning into the greatest year of his international career, more than 20 years after it began." - The Times, London.

"I have never liked comparisons between great players, but after Wednesday's incredible game it must be said: Sachin Tendulkar is the greatest batsman of all time. Better than Brian Lara and Ricky Ponting, the other two great players of my era. Better than Sir Viv Richards, Sunil Gavaskar and Allan Border. And I would even say better than Sir Don Bradman himself." - Nasser Hussain.

"His record speaks for itself. He's probably the greatest batsman I've ever watched or played with in my whole life." - Michael Clarke.

"Tendulkar amazing actually bigger then amazing the guy is a genius what a innings .. Well done to him not a easy attack either." - Damien Martyn.

"Sachin Paaji..I remember ad where that little kid is playing with the car and his father tells him: 'Stop playing now' and the kid replies...'What can I do papa, the petrol never finishes in the car!' hahaha..." - Yuvraj Singh.

"Tendulkar is sincerity personified. He has made sacrifices in his life, there is a lot of dedication involved and he is very passionate about achieving something." - Kapil Dev

"I have not seen Bradman playing cricket. I have played with Sachin and he is a great batsman and I have not seen a player like him. Sachin is a phenomenon and a great cricketer." - Sourav Ganguly

LEADER REVIEW

Before starting to write, let me clarify one very important thing i.e., this piece is not a review and its just my opinion on movie.
Because, just gone through some meanings in dictionary for review and it says "critical evaluation". Im not an actor, director, music director or some other technical guy, then how can i evaluate all these departments of a movie. How can an illiterate evaluate a 10th class student's answer sheet. I thought its not fair.

Concept/Subject/Theme
: 10 out of 10. Subject matter is very good and lot of points are emphasised on burning issues in India or atleast in AP. Its so true what sekhar kammula mentioned in an interview that source of this movie was what our telugu news channels were showing from last 8-10 months. And i somehow felt like RGV can make 3 films out of this subject(LEADER -1,2&3).

Acting : RANA has done his job very well and cant expect more of him in his very first film. Two heroines were not upto mark even though i liked priya's character(comes in 1st half and disappears in 2nd half). Her character was more of bubbly, funny and energetic type. All other characters were very good and made justice to their roles.

Some dialogues were very good but were not catchy and cannot be remembered for long.

Direction : I thought sekhar kammula was not appropriate to handle such a subject in an effective way though he tried his best. I dont know much technical aspects in direction and screenplay. He just wasnt able to create an impression on audience about what all he wanted to stress on. shankar or rgv are best in making such an impact through films.

Songs & BGM
:: Mickey J Meyer was very good. Though songs were nice and simple(except udaybhanu's terrible and unwanted item song), its the Background score that stands out. Most of the time BGM holds interest of audience when there are no dialogues.

OVERALL : Movie was average and one will not be bored on watching it at the same time one cannot get entertained as well. These kind of films will only succeed if they are able to create an impact on audience or make them think for a while. But not the case with LEADER. I recommend watching it only if you have time or interest to know or care about our political system.

oNe uNuSUal SuNdAY...!!

This sunday also started like every other day with waking up from sleep which marked a boring start. But need to mention that this day has the flavor of hangOver while waking up. No Not that drink-full-vomit-sleep kinda hangover, this is caused by a movie we had seen last night.

Ofcourse all of us(me and my roommates/friends) know before going to watch it that its going to add another flop for the Mega-Floppy-Star who already has so many flops to his credit but still had 2-3 films lined up for next release. i dont know whos dumb whether the producers who makes such films with him or people like us who watches every movie on block irrespective of whether its good, bad or worse..

Coming back to today ie., sunday early err...late morning (may be i can say it as afternoon) woke up with strong dose of headache. As usual, after completing routines which are not worth mentioning here, strongly required to have tea and tablets to get rid of headache.
So with most difficulty and laziness, got out of room. Disappointed to see that lift is not working, gone down through steps and frustration developed seeing my 2nd hand bike in parking.
Usually it always shouts, fumes and begs me for rest but i wont allow. so may be it thought of taking revenge and rest having a flat tyre. I coudnt do much other than going to nearest chai-dukan(which is 2 kms away from my room) by walk.

After much hardwork reached chai-dukan but plans altered in this journey due to start of rat-fighting in stomach. So had breakfast first at beside tiffin center and then chai and then tablets as well. Task accomplished without any new addition of problems.
Now started my walk back to room thinking of last night's big movie mistake. After taking few steps, my legs started to pain may be weight of belly they carrying was increased and also my left thigh was still little swollen from last night-- needs little explanation:

One of my friends say Tom since i dont want to take names in this space, had a strange habit of hitting adjacent seating guys whenever thers a joke(be it a silly or poor joke) in film.. In the first half, there is no scope for any comedy being it an action film(mind boggling stunts from hero thinking audience as villian), i thought second half would be no different and replaced Dick's(other friend whos sitting beside tom till now) place in interval. But to my misfortune second half had lot of poor jokes featuring ali(tom's fav comedy star) which led to my swollen thigh.

So coming back to road from chai-dukan to room, picked up all the energy from masala dosa and finally reached room. Thank god, power came and lift was working this time.

After getting inside now i can see my other friends had woke up may be just before. Harry(also a friend other than tom and dick) was yelling at me for not getting breakfast for him, dick cracking jokes on my laziness, wondering how could i woke up early than others and tom who still cant forget last night's PJs from movie was trying to discuss them.

I could not resist those jokes becuase they might reinvoke the headache and pain which was in the process of healing due to medicines, so went into other room for browsing internet. Obviously first thing comes in mind whenever logged in pc was logging into gmail(which means logging into orkut, youtube, blogger and all other related sites.)
After logging into orkut only able to face lot of criticism and insulting comments from some friends to my pics which were uploaded previous day. So being not able to take more insult,
silently logged off the machine and again had a sleep to recover from headache.

Dont know when but very quickly went to sleep and realize that i was infact spending some quality time with a very beautiful girl in my dreams. But suddenly i can feel two bulls are fighting just beside our place in field and they are running furiously towards us. One of them was about to hit me with its horns so trying to save myself, woke up suddenly only to see and feel Tom's huge body on me. Actually Dick pushed him onto me in their fight and i was pulped disturbing my beautiful dream and much needed sleep.

So scolding myself and my poor fate that day, i had to watch TV with Harry who was busy with omkar's reality show where one can see all the cheap kind of street fightings and extremely overactive people with 200% of action/reactions only adding to my headache woes.

Finally after going through all the tough time, struggling for such a long time due to a mosquito festival going on around me managed to sleep on Monday morning 2 AM got rid of a sucking SunDay.
